how long can one flight be?

so...have i mentioned that im going to taiwan?

well im going to taiwan. and im really excited ;-)

i leave sunday at the buttcrack of dawn, and will get back on the 29th in the evening. woohoo! yeah...except the flight over is 17 hrs long!! yargh!

on a not quite related note, my parents are overseas. by my estimations, they should have arrived at their destination by now. i wish they'd email me and just let me know they got in ok. le sigh. oh well, no news is good news...
