finding my niche

k...so if you havent noticed, im really into sprots lately for some reason. i really dunno why. i guess its just really exciting to me to see the cards in the series since i remember daddy and my brothers being fans ever since i was a little girl. ive been to several games in busch stadium, and yeah...it's just fun to become a more active fan. though, actually, it's kinda difficult to break into the sports world. there's a whole lot that i dont know, and since most fans are guys who started watching sports around the same time they started walking, there really isn't a good way to "break in". football ive always followed and enjoyed watching to some degree, though im becoming a more avid fan. dad's a baseball fan, so i can always ask him about anything baseball related. i dont like basketball for some reason, so im not trying to follow that. the sport that its gunna be tough for me to really start following is hockey. dad's not a fan, no one in this area really is, but its a sport i really think i'll enjoy once i get into it. of course, the fact that there's a lock-out going on doesnt help things. i was all geared up for hockey this season, and there is none! grrrrr. oh well...i'll just start watching when they start playing. ive picked my team as far as hockey goes. go flames! why the flames? i met a cool guy from calgary once...hehehe...

life is good. school is school, and no one has ever died from tiredness that im aware of, so that helps me to keep going. yeah...i guess im finally just settled into things. freshman year, everything was new and exciting/overwhelming, sophomore year i found my nitch, but school work got a lot tougher and i was having lots of medical stuff going on, so i just felt stressed and tired all the time, but now...its good. i know where i fit, and im happy. i have close friends that i can always turn to, and yeah...i know people who i can always hang out with for a good laugh.

ive got stuff i really should be doing, but i felt like adding something that was more than one or two lines to my diary, since most of my entries lately have been short little nothings.
